What the pack says

03The outer pack carries, in Korean: product name; business name and address; all ingredients; volume or weight; batch number; use-by date or period after opening (with the manufacturing date if you use the period after opening); cautions for use.Cosmetics Act art. 10(1), 12
04If there is an outer box, the bottle itself shows name, business trade name, batch number and use-by date or period after opening.Cosmetics Act art. 10(2)
05Ingredients are listed from highest to lowest content (ingredients at 1% or less, fragrance and colourants may go in any order).Enforcement Rule Annex 4

How it is sold

07No claim on pack or in ads suggests a medicine, or a functional cosmetic (e.g. whitening, anti-wrinkle) unless it is one.Cosmetics Act art. 13(1)

What this check leaves out

The shorter label allowed on small packs, the MFDS allergen list itself, quality-testing duties and functional-cosmetic review are not covered. Your Responsible Cosmetic Distributor will handle those; ask them early.
